Dear Valued Customer:
On Saturday July
23, 2005, PierPASS will launch its OffPeak program, wherein all
marine terminals at the Ports of Long Beach and Los
Angeles will host extended gate hours. OffPeak gates
will be Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m.
through 3:00 a.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. through 6:00
p.m. To offset the costs of OffPeak, all containers picked up at
the affected ports will be subject to a Traffic Mitigation Fee (TMF). At this
time there are no plans for PierPASS funded gates for Friday and Sunday.
Dynalink
has registered for PierPASS and is fully prepared to pay the TMF for you. If
you choose to have Dynalink pay the TMF on your behalf, Dynalink will charge an
administrative fee of $25.00 per each entry. TMF charges for loose freight will
be assessed at $3.00 per CBM.
